1) In this practice sheet, you have been given variants for which the literature attributes need to be assigned.2) Make a copy of this google sheet for yourself. To do so, click on the File option, select the 'Make a copy' option and now, work in your sheet. DO NOT make any changes in this sheet.3) Perform annotation using VEP for each variant (see notes for Session 6 and Session 9). Take out the following fields: gene name, cDNA change (NM ID), protein change (NP ID) and the rsID (dbSNP ID). Please consider all the NM and NP ids while searching for the relevant articles in literature. 4) After the annotation, start searching for the literature for all the variants (as explained in session 9), you can mark those attributes in your google sheet for each variant. NOTE: Also, note the pubmed ID of the papers from which you get a particular attribute.5) After finishing the assignment of attributes to each variant, go to the google form shared with you and follow the guidelines there.6) Please DO NOT SHARE YOUR GOOGLE SHEET WITH US, until we ask for it.
